Ms. Andrea Davis

Ms. Davis was born and raised in Decatur, Alabama, where she attended Austin High School and played basketball. Ms. Davis also played alto and tenor saxophone in the marching band. She was blessed to receive an athletic scholarship and be able to continue her basketball career at Northwest Shoals Community College in Muscle Shoals where she won a state championship under Coach Kristy Ward. After graduating from NWSCC with an Associates Degree in Pre-Medicine, she attended the University of Alabama-Huntsville where she also continued her basketball career and obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Biological Sciences and a Minor in Psychology. To further her education, Ms. Davis obtained a Master’s Degree in Communicative Sciences/Disorders and a Master’s Degree in Instructional Leadership from Alabama A&M University. 

She worked in education for over 13 years as a speech/language pathologist before deciding to pursue a career as an assistant principal in the Madison County School System. She previously served as a coach for Special Olympics basketball, freshmen girls’ basketball, junior varsity girls’ basketball, and assisted with varsity girls’ basketball at Sparkman High School.

In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her mom, family, friends, and her rescue dog named Ashton. She also enjoys baking, traveling, and exploring new places.
